Built around how plants run

TagLake is built around the three things plants already measure themselves on: how often they run, how well they run, and how good the product is.

It’s designed around how plants actually operate. The shift handover, the call-out in the night, and the question every engineer asks first: what changed?

TagLake is built by a team with over a decade in mining, mineral processing, petrochemicals, chemicals, oil and gas, power and renewables. Our work has been in operational technology and control systems: systems integration, field engineering, design, commissioning and optimisation.

Outcomes

What it’s for

Improved uptime

When a line stops, the first hour goes on finding out why, and the data is in five places. TagLake keeps every reading and its history together, with the highs and lows intact. It also marks any reading that has gone stale or failed, so you can tell a real change from a dropped connection.

Better quality

Quality depends on what the process was doing. Put up to 12 readings on one timeline and bring in results from SQL and web sources alongside them. When a run goes off-spec, you can see what was happening around it.

Greater efficiency

Most plants can’t calculate efficiency because the inputs sit in different systems. In TagLake, engineers build the measure themselves from readings already there. A pump’s efficiency comes from its flow, pressures and motor power, and energy per tonne works the same way. You build it once, not again for every project.

Answers you can trust

A number only helps if you can find it and trust it. TagLake names readings by area, unit and equipment instead of tag codes. It marks them when they’re unreliable and passes them to your reporting and production systems through a standard interface. TagLake IQ lets you ask in plain language, and each answer shows the readings and time periods behind it, so you can check it before acting.

TagLake shows your people what’s happening and why. They decide what to change.

Book a consultation

Every plant is different. Pick the one number you want to move, and talk through the use case behind it.

What to bring

  • The measure you want to move: stoppage hours, off-spec batches, energy per tonne.
  • The equipment or process behind it.
  • The systems you have today, even if you don’t know their names.
